Ten Hag: I Can’t Say Anything About It
Manchester United coach Teg Hag has opened up to the press concerning the existing pressure on whether he’s ready to welcome Mason Greenwood in the field.
While speaking to the press at Old Trafford on 3rd, February 2023, the coach has claimed not having anything to comment about Greenwood.
Teg Hag has focused on the management’s comment of doing the internal investigation on the 21-year-old Man Utd footballer.
“As I said, in this moment, I can’t give comment about the process.I can’t say anything about it, I refer to the statement of the club and at this moment I can’t add anything” Ten Hag has told the press.
When Greenwood’s case was fresh just after the arrest over sexual assault and attempted rape last year January, Ten told the press that he will welcome the soccer star into his team when proven innocent.
“If he’s proven innocent he would get a place in my team, he’s an exceptional talent who can play on the left wing, right-wing, centre forward, and false nine” Ten Hag told the press last year, 2022.
Today when addressing the press, Ten Hag was also asked whether he had spoken or met Greenwood but refused to say whether he had spoken to him.
Rather, he insisted on following the management’s comment which will be doing internal investigation on Greenwood ‘s case and determine his fate at Old Trafford.
“Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped. The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete,” says Man Utd management.
Former Manchester United player Garry Neville yesterday after prosecutor’s charges tweeted on Twitter claiming Greenwood was innocent and now can go to the field.
The post raised mayhem on Twitter from fans where Neville was forced to pull down his post and apologize.
Despite the apology of his post, Neville had also liked and retweeted Greenwood’s post feeling relieved and thanking his friends and family for being with him.
Neville’s retweet also subjected him to humiliations on Twitter, accounting to another apology. Most fans claimed conclusions are now in the hands of Manchester United management.
