Congolese Women Flogged For Wearing Mini-Skirts And Trousers
Congolese government has promised to deal with Malaika Militia based in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo for flogging women dressed in mini-skirts and trousers.
On Saturday, militia men were reported to be imposing Sharia laws in Salambila, eastern province of Maniema by abolishing women from put on indecent dress code.
The Congolese government Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde following the incident, has condemned the inhumane abuses done by the militiamen and promised to do policy delegations to them.
Hon. Lukonde say, the militia men imposing the Islamic Sharia laws under their control are on the watch and perpetrators when arrested, will be punished under humanity laws.
The Malaika militia which operates freely in the mineral- rich areas of Central Africa, claims to be representing the interest of people in installing sanity the society and regain the lost glory of moral decency.
Further, there free walk in DR Congo is of claim to also get revenue from the government after mining precious minerals in there soils, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
