Woman Dies During Delivery After Being Rejected By Hospital
A husband is in pain as he watched wife die helplessly Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State.
James Auta, narrates how his wife was allegedly rejected in an hospital because he could afford to pay due to scarcity of naira notes
“I ran to my bank to withdraw money but was told no money. I went back looking for POS operators, but I could not find any because, since the issue of new currency began, most POS operator locked up their business centre.” He said
Since he could not withdraw the money, they both decided to go home trusting God for a safe delivery.
Things however never went smooth as the wife had excessive blood loss during delivery.
Auta called a nurse within the locality to help but the bleeding couldn’t stop.
“My wife began labour around 11 pm. Since I could not withdraw any money, I called the attention of a nurse within our locality. But as my wife delivered, blood was coming out non-stop. All efforts by the nurse to stop the bleeding failed.”
The wife eventually died as a result of excessive bleeding during delivery.
