Woman Charged For Making Out With Lover On Thika Road

A woman who was caught making out with her boyfriend in their vehicle in the middle of Thika Road, causing a huge traffic jam, sentenced to a six-month jail term with an alternative fine of Ksh 20,000.

The magistrate was informed that attention of traffic officers manning the road were drawn to a huge traffic jam which they could not understand its cause.

On seeking to establish the cause, the cops found the woman in a compromising position with a man in their car stopped in the middle of the road.

The cops then politely interrupted their session and asked them to drive off so as to ease the jam but unfortunately the officers never got a calm response. The woman allegedly hurled insults and dared the officers to open their fire arms.

The Officers then reported the drama on January 24 at the Kasarani Police Station. Colleagues responded and headed to the scene.

The woman was then booked and asked to appear before court to answer charges on causing a disturbance and obstructing traffic; charges he pleaded guilty of at the Makadara Law Courts on January 24.
