Ezekiel Machogu, Education Cabinet Secretary, on Friday January 20 released the 2022 KCSE results,
revealing that 173,345 candidates scored the minimum university entry grade of C+ (plus).

A total of 881,416 candidates sat the exam, with the number of boys being 443,644 and girls
437,772.

According to Machogu,a total of 1,146 students scored A (plain)

From the result our team is still compiling, Kapsabet High’s Njagi Ronnie Gathuku has scored an A of
84 points; with straight As in all 7 subjects.

MUCHIRI BRIAN NDERITU INDEX: from Utumishi Academy Gilgil, scored a mean grad of A (PLAIN) of
82 Points.
