Ngesh Kaveve Kazoze Sheds Light on Why She Disappeared from The Limelight

Ngesh, Kenya’s rapper known for her hit song Kaveve Kazoze, has shed light on why she disappeared from the limelight.

Speaking to a digital journalist, the female rapper cited financial status and pressure as reasons for her disappearance from the limelight.

Ngesh revealed that even her group music members urged her to remain active in the limelight, but she found the place unfavourable.

Ngesh added that being a celebrity is not for the faint-hearted. She claimed life may force some to live a fake lifestyle that they haven’t reached.

“Mbona nikae kwa limelight na hakuna kitu ninapata? Pesa ndiyo kila kitu. Hatukuwa tunapata pesa na YouTube yetu. Mimi si that type of a person.” Ngesh shared.

The singer revealed that she was hurt after an unidentified person filmed her boarding a public matatu and shared the clip on social media. She said the pressure and criticisms she endured left her heartbroken.

“Kila kitu kinataka pesa hata hiyo limelight. Pressure nayo ilikuwa mob. Watu hawawezi nisafiri kwa Matatu. Kuna time nikatrend after kupanda Super Metro. Niliboeka sana” She revealed.

However, she said most celebrities pressure themselves to live a life they can’t manage. Kaveve Kazoze, hitmaker, said she would live low-key and manage her lifestyle without pressure.

“Kuwa celeb, ni mtu mwenyewe hujipa pressure. Anaona ni wakati wa kutoka level ya chini kwenda juu na life yake haijafika hapo. So, you end up sinking.” Ngesh said.
