Alikiba’s Mom Reveals She Reviews His Songs Before He Releases Them

Alikiba’s mom revealed that she reviews his songs before he releases them to the public. In an exclusive interview on Crown FM, the mom said she doesn’t allow him to release songs with unethical content.
Alikiba’s mom explained that after he does any song, she’s given to listen and comment about it. If the song is unethical or the video poses obscene dances unacceptable to the public and children, she sends him back to the studio.
She also said, in some songs, Alikiba is forced to plead with her and explain the meaning and use of some sexy symbols lest she bar him from releasing.

“Mziki wowote unaotoka, ni lazma upitishwe kwangu mwanzo nisikize wote ndipo nimwambie, mwanagu hiki kitu ni kizuri kiachie mwanangu. Alhamdulillah, Mwenyezi Mungu anabariki.
“Hata video, humwambia asitoe video inayomwonyesha mwanamke wazi. Akiona amekosea, hulalamika na kusema mama, hii ni collabo tu nimeshirikishwa na nimepata mambo yameshafanywa.” The calm mom said.
The humble mom revealed that she noticed her son’s musical talent when he was 7 days old. She said she saw her son reacting positively to a Taarab song after her husband played it on the radio.

However, at the age of three, she said Alikiba had already participated in the singing competitions, and in one event, he sang well and won an award.
“Taji yake aliipata akiwa na mdogo na akiwa na miaka mitatu, nilikuwa nishavaa nguo yake tayari baada ya yeye kushinda mashindano ya promotion.” She added.
This year, Alikiba will celebrate 20 years in the music industry. In Bongo Flava, the singer is crowned as the King of Bongo Flava and celebrated as the most humble artist in Tanzania.
