Zari Hassan Shares Why She Cut Short Her Music Career

Many people had never known Zari Hassan started her career as a musician/ courtesy.
Zari Hassan, a South Africa-based Ugandan entrepreneur, shared why she cut her music career. In an interview, she revealed that she started her journey to success as a musician.
Zari revealed that in her early years in the entertainment industry, she struggled to balance music, business, administration, parenting and wifely duties.
Zari, a 44-year-old entrepreneur, said that although music was not her thing, she wanted to use the platform to make an entry into acting platforms.

She claimed that through music, she believed bigwigs in the acting industry would notice her and give her the opportunity, but it never happened as quickly as she hoped.
After she released several songs, which are still on her YouTube channel, she ended her career prematurely and focused on managing the wealth and firms her husband had started.
“I was managing the head office, overseeing the satellite campuses, raising my boys, and being someone’s ‘husband.’ At the same time, I had started a singing career, and I had to choose.” Zari revealed in an interview.

“I had to drop the singing and focus on the businesses and the children because it needed me to travel a lot.” She added.
The mother of five is famous across the African continent through her businesses, relationship history and acting career.
Recently, she went viral after her second feature in Netflix’s Young, Famous and African season two series. In the show, she highlighted several moments when she went viral over her relationship and parenting journey with her estranged husband, Diamond Platnumz.
