Willy Paul Addresses Dislike Claims Against Tanzanians

Willy Paul, a former gospel artiste, has addressed claims of hate for Tanzanians. Taking to his Instagram stories, the singer stated that he has no beef with Tanzanians.
The singer explained that he loves Bongo Flava artists and treats them like brothers and sisters. However, the former gospel singer explained that Diamond Platnumz attempted to cause division between Tanzanians and Kenyans.
Further, Willy Paul revealed that the only thing he doesn’t tolerate is someone who belittles him. He clarified that he wouldn’t keep calm if someone did that to him.

“Ndugu zangu wa Tanzania, msidanganywe eti nina chuki na nyinyi au wasanii wenu. Sisi sote mandugu and we need each other but what I won’t allow ni dharau. Msanii wenu alikuja kuniletea dharau hapa home… nikakataa na bado nitakataa tu,” Willy Paul stated as he added that he and Phina, a Tanzania were set to release a song by the end of the week.
“Akabadilisha story na kusema kuwa nawachukia watz, mimi sina chuki na watz. I love you all, my brothers and sisters. I have a song with the talented Phina dropping this week.” He added.
Recently, Bien, an awarding-winning Kenyan singer, revealed that Tanzanians love almost all Kenyan singers except the Sitolia hitmaker. He stated that the singer is hated in Tanzania.

Willy Paul picked the beef with Tanzanians in December 2024 at the Raha Fest event in Nairobi. The singer alleged that Diamond Platnumz’s security team assaulted him when he was set to perform on the stage.
In the viral clip, he also alleged that Platnumz wanted to hijack his time on the stage, something that he didn’t agree with the Bongo Flava singer.
However, Platnumz denied the claims and accused him of blackmail and chasing clout.
