Bien Aime Baraza, Kenya's celebrated artist, has revealed that in Tanzania, Kenyan artists are highly loved, except for Willy Paul.

Bien Aime Baraza, Kenya’s celebrated artist, has revealed that in Tanzania, Kenyan artists are highly loved, except for Willy Paul.

 

In a recorded interview with Silva Kido, the award-winning musician shared that Kenyan artists are loved in Tanzania and other nations because they support the entertainment industry.

 

Bien explained that for what Kenyans do for foreign artists, their love is also reciprocated through their artists when they perform outside Kenya.

However, Bien revealed that in Tanzania, the only artist from Kenya currently not loved by many is Willy Paul.

 

Watanzania ni wangu and honestly, wanatusupport sana which is a good thing. Actually, wanasanii wetu are respected in other places because oftentimes, we love other people, and the love is reciprocated. In Tanzania, it’s not just Bien; we are loved over there, except for Willy Paul.” Bien stated.

 

Further, the Extra Pressure singer said he felt great after he bagged the Best Artiste in Eastern Africa award at the Trace Awards event in Zanzibar last week.

The singer shared that he desired to touch souls through music across Eastern Africa, and it came to fulfillment.

 

Kila mtu alikuwa nominated hapo ni star and everyone there was a King of something. This award means I’m the heart of East Africa, and I always wanted to be in the heart of East African people.” The Kenyan singer stated.
