“Never Say Never”: Jeff Koinange Shares His Critical Thoughts If Offered Plum Job By President Ruto
Jeff Koinange, a legendary news anchor has shared his critical thoughts if President William Ruto gives him a plum governmental job.
In a breakfast show on Hot 96, Patrick Igunza, his co-host, asked him if he would take a job from the government if President Ruto gave him.
Since Jeff Koinange has a good international relationship with a Ghanaian state, Igunza started by asking him if he would accept an ambassadorial job to represent Kenya in Ghana.

The long-revered Citizen TV anchor explained that he would not take the job. Koinange stated that even if it were Nigeria, where he stayed for six years, he would turn down the State offer.
“Jeff, because you have a good relationship with Ghana, would you take it if you’re approached and given an ambassadorial job by the President?” Igunza posed.
“I’ve lived in Nigeria for six years. I love my country, and although I’ve been away for a while, I have my life, and that’s why I love to stay in my country.” Koinange replied.

Further, Igunza asked him if he could accept the government’s offer as a Cabinet Secretary – one which he would continue enjoying Kenya’s serene environment. In his response, he stated that if it happened, he would have to think about it.
“What if the president gives you the Cabinet Secretary (CS) job?” Igunza asked Jeff Koinange. Since the anchor knows President Ruto, he looked doubtful before he responded.
“CS gani? Acha ujinga bwana. Nani atanipatia hiyo kazi? Huyu orezo? My friend? My friend? They say, never say never.” Hilariously, Jeff responded.
