Kimani Mbugua’s Dad: I Want Kimani Back to Rehab For a Year
Kimani Mbugua’s dad has revealed that his son has not healed. Speaking to Oga Obinna, the father stated his son was causing chaos at the place of residence.
The humble dad to the former Citizen TV journalist explained that after Kimani was discharged from rehab, he had yet to meet him.
The father shared that as he expected to meet him, Kimani sent him a threatening message warning him against interference with his peace and properties.
“You’ve done me enough damage and never call this number. You think I am stupid because I don’t know what you’ve done. You’re the one who brought this on yourself. If you ever come near or close to my property from this moment on, you’ll end up in jail.” Kimani Mbugua’s dad shared the heartbreaking message.
The father explained that the shocking message revealed Kimani was discharged from the rehab before he healed.
“That was a big signal my son was yet to heal. You know, in the African way, we say when a son is from a certain kind of place, and you see threatening messages, that’s a big signal something is not okay. “ The father explained.

Further, the father revealed that Kimani started abusing drugs shortly after discharge from the rehab. He shared that the information hurt him but as a parent, he had to accept the situation.
“Nilionyeshwa alikuwa amefunga noti ya Ksh 500 na kitu cha sigara na hapo nikaona kimelipuka tena. Sigara zingine alikuwa amevuta and also causes chaos.
“It’s so painful after the support he has received from the Kenyans, the community, and many people. The pain I am going through as a parent, I know I am not alone.” Heartbroken father disclosed.

The father also apologised to Kenyans and Oga Obinna after Kimani’s ungrateful comments about them and the YouTuber. He said he was hurt by his son’s ungrateful comments and he hoped to see him return to rehab for complete treatment.
“Kenyans, I honestly beg and request that he return to rehab and complete the year. Why should I lose him yet he has all the chances to heal? Ninaomba tu akubali na arudi huko. He’s not okay. ” He asserted.
