Oga Obinna Offers Kimani Mbugua a Job on Obinna TV
YouTuber Oga Obinna has offered Kimani Mbugua, a former Citizen TV journalist a job on Obinna TV. In an exclusive talk, Obinna said Kimani Mbugua would start the work in 2025.
Oga Obinna said Kimani Mbugua will work for Obinna TV for six to seven months. The YouTuber said the avenue would be to help Kimani get back into the media limelight after a long battle with Bipolar disorder.
In his statement, Mbugua would host the current affairs department at Obinna TV studios and digital streamlining activities.

“Next year, I have a job for you on Obinna TV live. There’s a show that I’d like you to spearhead. So, you have a job waiting for you after this festive season.
“Next year, in early January or mid- or early February, we shall reconvene and see what happens to get you back to what you used to do,” Obinna told Kimani Mbugua.
Obinna stated that he aims to see the former Citizen TV journalist back in the media limelight by having a new name and place to source a living.

“Before we propel you to doing your things, as Kimani Mbugua, start here and build your momentum. I’d want to see you doing what Larry Madowo does. I want you to do reports, and documentaries, and tell people what’s happening worldwide.” Obinna added.
The journalist had struggled with Bipolar disorder for years, facing numerous challenges and setbacks in his personal and professional life. Despite seeking treatment and therapy, he found it difficult to manage his condition on his own. It wasn’t until he met Oga Obinna and Mike Sonko that he finally found the support and guidance he needed to overcome his struggles.
