Jackie Chan Reveals Plan to Donate Entire Wealth to Charity, Son to Look For His Own

Jackie Chan, a Martial Arts revealed he’d donate his wealth worth $400 M to the less fortunate.
In an exclusive interview with Channel News Asia, the legendary filmmaker and singer said his son Jaycee would not get an inheritance from him.
Jackie Chan explained that he worked hard to get his wealth and that his son Jaycee should also show efforts in getting his wealth rather than expecting an inheritance from him.

“When I was a child, I was very poor and wanted everything. Now, I want to give away everything. When I give somebody something and see their face, it just makes me so happy,” Jackie Chan revealed as he explained why his son Jaycee should expect nothing from him.
The 70-year-old Martial Arts legend explained that he would give out his entire wealth worth millions of dollars to charity- the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation he founded in 1988, citing free wealth would be squandered by his son.
“If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money, ” Chan explained his plan.

Some years back, Jackie Chan revealed that he wanted Jaycee to join the Army and get wealth but he was reluctant to take heed of his advice.
In 2014, Jaycee was arrested with drugs, something that angered his father. Jackie Chan after he saw his name entangled in his son’s misfortunes, apologised to social media users and said Jaycee’s activities would serve as a lesson to other people.
