“Men, Tafuta Pesa”: Dr. Ofweneke Weighs In On Alma, Gift Viral Saga
Dr. Ofweneke, a revered MC and media personality has advised the current generation to stick to old cultures. In his reaction to Alma and Gift drama, he has requested men stop the habit of splitting bills with women.
Dr. Ofweneke has said the current generation is trying to change social-cultural norms set by the older generation by introducing the law of splitting bills.
Dr. Ofweneke has asserted that women were created to be taken care of by men, not vice versa. He claimed it’s the work of men to provide for their families.

“Men of this generation, stop this nonsense of 50/50 . 50/50 will break your relationship or marriage. If you are not financially stable to take care of your wife or family, don’t marry.” He said.
“When you allow your woman to do 50/50, she’d even come home late. She’d only give you a 50% request because she brings in the other 50%. Achaneni na pesa ya wanawake. Pesa ya mwanamke ni sumu.” He added.
Further, Dr Ofweneke advised young men to marry when they are financially stable. He alleged the right time for men to marry should also be above 30 years of age.

” Young men of this generation, you have no business of getting married at 20- years. Find yourself, find money and be stable mentally, emotionally and psychologically…
“…think about marriage in your 30s. Not in your 20s. Tafuta pesa. Money may not be the only thing in a relationship but a fueler. These women need to look good.” Dr. Ofweneke advised.
In a separate interview on Obinna Show Live, Alma Mutheu exposed her lover Gift Musiq for staying with her yet he doesn’t help her pay bills. She alleged she was tired of keeping Gift as he eats and sleeps in her house rather than working like other men.
