Pierra Makena Says When She Got Pregnant, Visited Hospital For HIV Test
Kenya’s disc jokey Pierra Makena has said after she got pregnant, she went and had HIV/AIDs tests. In an exclusive interview with MC Jessy, she said pregnancy got her off guard and many questions lingered in her head.
Pierra Makena stated that as she was thinking of the pregnancy, HIV/AIDs took a bigger part in her head. The actress said she prayed hard to God not to test positive.
Further, she disclosed that the pregnancy also got her immediately she had separated from her lover. Weighing in on how she would survive as a single person, ways of looking for a hustle were also a hurdle.

“When I got knocked up and got pregnant and sh*t happened, me and big stomach, the first thing I did was an HIV test and I was like ‘God please give me another chance.’ I found myself not positive I went checked the heartbeat and I found I have a heartbeat,” she stated in an interview.
After testing HIV negative, Pierra Makena revealed that she drove to a nearby church and thanked God as she asked Him for a way forward. The disc jokey said she asked God to provide for her a job and protection.
“I went to church and cried to God asking him to be the father of my child and… the time I was walking out of the church door, the answer was yes. My child is protected.” She added.

However, she revealed that she and her baby daddy are on good terms and she has never barred him from accessing his daughter.
“I have never denied the father room to be there for his child. He’s just never been there. I have no beef with him. This happened when he was not in a space to be a father.
“I am not going to blame him, as much as he got some where and was able to be a father to somebody else and give it all, it is okay, probably he was not ready to be a father to Ricca or to be a husband to me. He is a nice person. We are friends,” Pierra said.
