“Msee Wa Gari Alisema Ameokoka”: Dr King’ori, YY Shares How Their First Attempt At Prostitution Failed
Dr King'ori said the driver only agreed to take them around the corners that had sex workers but didn't want them to quench their thirst in his car/ collage.
Former NTV anchor Dr. King’ori has shared how his first attempt at prostitution along Koinange Street failed. In an exclusive with Mic Cheque Podcast, King’ori said he was with YY Comedian when the deal backfired.
During the talk, Dr. King’ori stated that the year was around 2013 when he and YY Comedian had been slapped with a ‘dry spell’ and resorted to seeking help from commercial sex workers along Koinange Street.
Together with their hired car owner, they walked around Koinange Street on the hunt for commercial sex workers, but their plan backfired because they were not courageous enough to approach the women and bargain for the services.

“So, tulikuwa na msee wetu wa gari akitupisha Koinange mahali kuna madem wamesimama wa kuchota na kila time akituonyesha mahali madem wamesimama, alikuwa anatukata dooh,” he added explaining that those days they were not Bolt and Uber cars.
Although they were nervous to approach the sex workers along Koinange Street, he claimed that their driver was also a deterrent upon their target goal.

Dr King’ori said the driver only agreed to take them around the corners that had sex workers but didn’t want them to quench their thirst in his car.
“Msee wa gari ni definition ya hypocrisy nishawahi ona juu after ametupeleka hiyo shughuli ya kutafuta madem, alikuwa ashatupa disclaimer eti mtu asiumwe kwa gari yake juu yeye ameokoka,” he added.
In the end, they made it to approach the sex workers but turned down the offer they were given because the price was exorbitant.
