President Ruto To Start 2-Day Tour Of Raila’s Backyard Over The Weekend.
Kenyas President William Ruto chats with former Migori Governor Okoth Obado
President William Ruto will from Friday tour Azimio Leader Raila Odinga’s backyard for a series of
development projects.
Ruto will preside over the ground-breaking ceremony for the Affordable Housing programme in
Homabay County and later commission Homabay municipal market.
On Saturday, the President will tour Odinga’s home county of Siaya for the homecoming ceremony of ICT CS
Eliud Owalo in Asembo, Rarieda constituency.
This is the second time Ruto is touring Nyanza since his inauguration in September 2022.
His first visit to Nyanza, specifically Homabay County, after becoming president was in October
2022.
Earlier in the day, former Migori Governor Okoth Obado met with Kenya Kwanza affiliate leaders in
the region to strategize on Ruto’s visit. The meeting was also attended my lawyer Miguna Miguna,
former Kisumu governor Jack Ranguma, ex-Kisumu senator Fred Outta among Others.
