Relief as Government release Condoms to over 14 Counties!

Kenya Medical Supplies Authority – KEMSA has released condoms to over 10 counties after a massive decries from citizens that saw a total  of 50 facilities, benefiting with 265 boxes.
This comes after netizens from Busia County the most affected by the shortage of condoms hence some commercial sex workers and the youth were forced to recycle and reuse condoms.
Counties of Kisumu, Mombasa, Kisii, Nairobi, Lamu, Siaya, Turkana, Kiambu, Kilifi, Malindi, Samburu, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo are samples that are making merry to have received condoms.
Kenya, which has been affected by the supply of condoms as reported by National Aids Control Council – NACC since the emergence of COVID-19, the supply of the essential tools for massive pleasure has been a thorn in the flesh to youth and commercial sex workers.
This comes days after Health CS Susan Nakhumicha dismissed the shortage of condoms in the country, adding that the country has 38 million pieces and attributed the shortage claim to lapse in the supply process.
As per KEMSA guidelines, the distribution which is dependent  on the needs that arise from every county as evaluated and advised by NASCOP, condom supplies are always in partnership with the  National AIDS and STIs Control Program(NASCOP).
