Meet The Award Winning Kenyan Actress, Sarah Hassan

Sarah Hassan pursued a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial science at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Sarah Hassan was born on September,5 1988 in Mombasa,Kenya. She is a talented Kenyan actress, model and a former TV host who has appeared in several films and Television series.

She started acting at the age of five while in primary school. She later joined Machakos Girls’ High School for her secondary school education.

She made her debut on TV in 2009 as Tanya, on the Kenyan high-school drama series Tahidi High and became one of the lead characters at the time.

The actress also hosted the East African Dance show Sakata Mashariki. In 2013, she took over Noni Gathoni’s role in The Wedding Show as the main host until December 2014.

She has starred in different films such Demigods, Saints, Sakata, Live or die, Discovery 254, Just In Time, Plan B, Zora and Zari. She married Martin Dale on February 25, 2017, and together they have a son.

The actress also hosted the East African Dance show Sakata Mashariki. In 2013 she took over Noni Gathoni's role in The Wedding Show as the main host until December 2014.

Recently, she bagged an award at the Kalasha Awards 2024 in Nairobi. She won as the best lead actress in a TV drama. She expressed her love to her fans appreciating them for supporting her throughout.
