“Used To Sleep Down”: Salasya Shares Snippets Of His House In The Village
Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has advised men living in cities to build houses in their rural homes.
The funny Mp has shared snippets of his first village house that he built in 2017. Salasya has encouraged men to have a house in their village because it will be of help one day.
While sharing photos of the house through his Instagram page, he noted that after constructing the house he slept on the floor for 6 years. He also explained how cheap it was to build the house.

“To all my brothers in Nairobi Mombasa and Kisumu and all towns tukumbuke pia kujenga ushago ata kaa ni ya mabati kumi inaeza saidia siku moja . That’s my house with wheelbarrow outside I constructed it in 2017 april and it costed me 35k 18 iron sheets ,miti 5k,mlango 2k ,dirisha 3k ,haikuwa na kitanda I used to sleep down until 2022 .This is how humble my family background used to look,” he captioned
Salasya is a former hawker as popularly known by the people of Mumias East. He later rose to become Mp serving the best example of ‘from grass to grace’ stories.
Since then, he has attracted controversy and admiration at equal measures due to his scandals. Moreover, he has become people’s most favourite funny MP.
