Legendary Tanzania singer Diamond Platnumz says he has yet to take a long break from music. He claims his critics should be assured that he would continue dropping hit-by-hit until they bow out.

In an exclusive shared online, the Diamond told his critics that he would continue hitting the airwaves until his death.

According to him, his latest song Mapoz over two months after it was released, is still on East Africa’s market trend and the song would continue dominating the East Africa region without break.

“Shehe, mimi natoa hit tu. Hilo swala la kudondoka mimi sitondoki mpaka Mungu aseme. ” He said.

Platnumz added that the reason he wasn’t ready to retire from music was because of his great ambitions and strategic plans he had laid down.

“Nina plans na strategies ambazo hazikatiki leo wala kesho. Mpaka mwenyezi Mungu aseme Diamond hii inatosha tu. Lakini kwa maneno ya watu mimi nina nyimbo. Nina mawe. Mziki naujua sana” He added.

His message to his music competitors and critics has gone viral in Tanzania and either Ali Kiba or Harmonize have fired back at the WCB-Wasafi CEO.

Early this week, Platnumz took to his Insta stories to celebrate the milestone his signee Zuchu that she had achieved in her music career under the WCB-Wasfi label.

In his Insta stories, he shared a glimpse of Zuchu’s song Honey which had been viewed by over 30M people on YouTube. Following that, he heaped praises on her for her big achievement in the music industry.
