Nasib Abdul popularly known as Diamond Platnumz has responded to social media claims that his iconic green cap carries witchcraft.
Speaking after a public press conference in Dar Es Salaam on Thursday 11th April 2024, Platnumz rubbished the claims by alleging his iconic green cap is just like any other cap.
The singer added that, he is always special and that he never uses witchcraft with his iconic green cap.

According to Platnumz, he struggled to get the cap when he visited South Africa capless and when in the process of getting one, he moved to different malls until he got the unique cap with no hole at the back.
Most caps he used to get according to Platnumz, were not as unique as the iconic green cap. He claimed in some malls, he bumped into some good ones, but he could find out some were small, others big and a few couldn’t sit well with his head.

“Nikiwa South Africa, wakati mmoja nilihangaika sana kupata kofia kama hii na nyingi zilikuwa na tundu. Nilizunguka sana katika Malls karibu zote na nikapata hii moja tu. Na mara nyingi kichwa changu hupata taabu. Hupata nyingi kuwa ndogo na size yangu huwa special. Sasa nilipo bahatika kupata hii, nikafika Dodoma, ikaibiwa aaayi! Haiwezekani niache hivyo iende” he narrated.
After his bodyguard helped him get the iconic green cap, Platnumz added that went ahead to America and bought some caps.
However, in the bombastic public performance set on 27th April 2024, the WCB Wasafi CEO added that he would invite the young man who stole his iconic cap to the event.
