Kenyan rapper Wanjiku Kimani, popularly known as Femi One has issued a stern warning to netizens who are fond of mistaking her for business influencer Fena Gitu.

In a recent interview with UpSyd Podcast, Femi One said something she had failed to understand was how netizens mistook her for Fena Gitu.

The celebrated rapper disclosed that she doesn’t resemble Fena Gitu in any way because, for her, the outlook starts from the head where her hair is dyed and short.

“Every time yaani, cheki, mi ndo Femi One, like the short hair, the coloured hair sawa! Mimi ndio Femi,” she emphasized during the interview.

Femi One went ahead and revealed that at other times, her close friends also refer to her as Fena Gitu and following such mistakes, she vowed to have a one-on-one showdown with whoever would publicly mistake her after having addressed the matter.

“Next time mtu ananiita Fena walai, anakula head, walai! Mpaka yani artistes, wana kua like aaayi…mpaka Radio Presenters. Hawa sijui ni ignorance ama ni nini, me I mi huwa sielewi yani. Huwa si geti, huwa sielewi, also I think ni juu tulitokea around the same time and also, we share a birthday” She added.

Femi also disclosed that being mistaken for Fena usually hurt her because she can’t keep her personality straight in the public domain.

“Guys please aki, the next time, walai, niko serious, hii sh**t huni pi**s off sana. Nakuanga like, kwani si put in effort ama? ” She gushed.

Femi One rose to limelight when she featured in hit Genge tone song Utawezana by Mejja Genge.
