Tragedy As University Student Mysteriously Falls From 4th Floor, Dies On Spot
In Thika, detectives are investigating a tragic incident where a university student lost her life after she fell from the fourth floor of a building in Runda Estate.
The young woman who was studying nursing at Mount Kenya University (MKU), fell from a balcony at the Mama Jimmy apartments.
According to witnesses, the student had accidentally locked herself out of her apartment and when she came back to get in through a neighbour’s balcony, death knocked at her door.

It is reported that she slipped and fell headfirst, resulting in her immediate death on Sunday night.
According to residents, the balconies in the area are closely situated, and it’s common for students to move between them.
Following her death, her body was taken to the mortuary for a postmortem examination to determine the exact cause of death as the police probe into the matter.

Further, as the entire community is saddened by the loss of a young student, the university administration has advised students to take caution of dangerous passways around their places of residence to avoid another horrendous incident.
