Mammito outlines that Kenyans from all races are rising against her for just posting a mere video

Content creator Eunice Wanjiru Njoki alias Mammito has responded to Kenyans after facing severe backlash. This was as a result of posting a parody of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” targeting Joseph Irungu, also known as Jowie, on the day of his sentencing.

In her statement on Instagram, Mammito outlines that Kenyans from all races rising against her for just posting a mere video made her soul bleed.In a quite controversial post, Mamito added that she is just an emaciated lady who has no power to defend herself. Mammito added that she hopes that one day Kenyans will unite and support one another.

Mammito wrote, “I have witnessed a very rare occurrence something that has not happened since 2002 people from every background uniting together for a reason, to cook me. It gives me hope for the future that one day we shall unite and fight against corruption and other things ailing our country. Am in hot fire now, my soul weeps .I am but a small thin woman with no buttocks and am not as attractive, how dare I joke about a beautiful accused person , but your unity how it fills my soul!”

The video, widely circulated on social media, has provoked strong criticism from Kenyans who find it highly inappropriate given the gravity of the situation.
