Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a has breathed fire at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) over allegations that he grabbed city land belonging to the Kenya Railways.

Speaking to his congregants in a recent sermon shared online, Apostle Ng’ang’a alleged the land his church Neno Evangelism Centre was built on belongs to him and he bought it by following Kenya’s legal processes.

The man of the cloth added that he bought the land in 2004 from a private entity after he verified the seller’s documents from the Kenya Lands Commission.

According to Ng’ang’a, the client he bought the land from, had a valid title deed processed early 1980s.

“EACC tafuta rika yako. Mimi si rika yako. Mnasema nimeiba uwanja na uwanja title deed ni ya 1980 na ilitoka 1992 alafu mwasema ni fake? Don’t bring your nonsense to me.” He said.

The controversial man of the cloth added that he officially bought the land in 2004 from a private entity and was shocked to see some government civil servants going after him alleging he had been using the government land illegally.

Further, Apostle Ng’ang’a advised EACC to go and confirm the trueness of his land in the Lands Commission rather than causing interruptions over his rightfully owned land.

“Enda kwa land mwangalie na mwache sarakasi za kuharibia serikali jina. Na wanasiasa, mwache kuchezea jina la serikali. Chezea kule mbali ila si kwangu kanisani.” He added.

Besides the advice, he went ahead and issued a stern warning to those who would go after him and demolish his church by alleging a horrendous storm would land on some officials who’d initiate the process of demolition.

“Try me and I’ll do something that you won’t believe. Ninafanya kazi ya deliverance na mwanisumbua, mtaona vitu nitawatumia na hamtajua ni mimi.” He fumed.

Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus Is Alive Ministries is a victim of imminent demolition end of the week after the government went after her church in Nairobi CBD and demolished it.

That came following the government’s plan to reclaim the land initially owned by the Kenya Railways and currently owned by the private entities.
