Once Rich Social Media Influencer Elodie Zone Now Homeless Sleeping In Airbnbs and Friends Places
Renowned social media influencer Elodie Zone recently bared her soul in a candid and emotional video, shedding light on her recent struggles and revealing a distressing tale of abuse and homelessness that has left her feeling utterly isolated and vulnerable.
In the heartfelt video, which rapidly garnered widespread attention, Elodie courageously shared the painful details of her traumatic experiences, recounting how a trusted friend callously ejected her from their home in the dead of night, leaving her destitute and with nowhere to turn.
“At the start of the year, I decided to share my reality on TikTok. It received overwhelming support. I opened up about losing my family, drifting apart from friends, grappling with a breakup due to intimacy issues, and losing my job,” she narrated, her voice trembling with emotion.
Elodie went on to describe how she had been compelled to vacate her apartment due to a series of challenges in her life, leaving many of her possessions scattered among various acquaintances, including cherished belongings with deep sentimental value.
However, the situation took a distressing turn when her friend returned home inebriated and turned violent, resulting in her abrupt expulsion from the premises.
“Throughout February 2024, I’ve been bouncing around from one Airbnb to another. It provided some semblance of stability to have my belongings in trusted individuals’ homes. I even organized a thorough fumigation of a friend’s residence due to a cockroach infestation, at a cost of Sh8,000. I made efforts to contribute towards maintaining a home,” she shared, detailing her desperate attempts to secure temporary accommodation.

Overwhelmed with anguish and visibly shaken, Elodie revealed that this was not her first encounter with abuse in her relationships, divulging, “Out of the four relationships I’ve been in, two have been marred by physical violence, a fact unknown to many. I’ve just emerged from a brutal beating, which escalated to such an extent that the caretaker relocated me to a different apartment, refusing to leave me alone with my assailant.”
Seated amidst her scattered belongings in an empty apartment, Elodie expressed the profound anguish of feeling unheard and misunderstood.
“There’s no greater anguish than feeling utterly ignored. Whether you’re grappling with adversity or battling negative thoughts, and I detest the fact that even as this individual cast me out, my voice went unheard. This mirrors the same predicament I encountered with my family,” she confessed.

Elodie’s decision to share her ordeal online stemmed from a place of desperation and solitude.
“I’ve lost my job and all my sources of income. I’m completely cut off from the world. I feel numb,” she lamented, adding, “You might be wondering, why broadcast this online? Because I have no one else to confide in. And believe me, I used to pour my heart out to my dog Max, but he’s no longer here,” underscoring the depth of her isolation.
