NRG Radio presenter and former Sailors Gang manager Mwalimu Rachael has disclosed why it was difficult for her to reconcile with the Gengetone music group after their bitter fallout.

The bubbly radio host revealed that he could not forgive, rather make up with Sailors Gang because they had ill intentions with her but pretended that all was just fine.

In her own words, Rachael called out the gang for being hypocrites.

Speaking during an interview with the Mic Cheque Podcast, Rachael reminisced how members of Sailors Gang were busy apologising to her privately after their friction but slander online whenever they got the chance.

”Why was it hard to mend things with Sailors Gang? It is because I a person. I am a person who believes I need to be able to look at you in the eye yeah and I expect that. I expect that you need to move in a certain way if I am to take you for who you are when all this smearing was happening online these guys were still talking to me whatsapping me and apologizing and say don’t want to say their before then come knowing you can’t be the same people starting stories online then you want to apologize in secret. Again I had to accept it that’s why I let people to think whatever they wanted.” Rachael said.

To make matters worse, Sailors Gang even hired and paid influencer to turning the radio host’s reputation on social media with many lies about mismanagement of their funds.

“Imagine there was a whole campaign. Influencers were paid to ruin my name online. I knew they are kids and have nothing to lose. I had a lot to lose, in fact I lost a lot of deals and contacts,” she added.

The latest development comes about two years after Rachael and Sailors Gang went their separate ways.

Prior to the cancellation of their engagement, the gang had accused Mwalimu Rachael of stealing money from them.

Then, Rachael was Sailors Gang’s music manager.
