Bonuses Chelsea Players Will Earn If They Win Carabao Cup Final On Sunday

The Blues will be playing their first Final since winning the UEFA Champions League title in 2021 against Manchester City. Chelsea will face Liverpool in Carabao Cup Final this coming Sunday February 25th at Wembley Stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino side defeated Middlesbrough in the Semi Finals to earn this season’s Carabao Cup Finals ticket while on the other side the Reds overpowered Fulham to advance into the Finals.

The London based club will be eyeing to win their first major trophy since the American investor Todd Boehly took over the club in May 2022. Despite spending over £1 billion in making new signings as well as bringing new coaching staff since the firing of Germany manager Thomas Tuchel, the club has been registering poor run of results.
Chelsea victory on Sunday will see the Blues players earn some good bonuses in terms of money for winning the Carabao cup trophy. According to The Mirror Mauricio Pochettino’s side will share a bonus of £500,000 (Ksh. 92 million) from the club board in case they emerge champions in the Finals.
The Mirror also reports that every player who has played in the Carabao Cup match this season for Chelsea is entitled to the club’s bonus, with the bonus percentage ranging by the number of minutes one played throughout the tournament. If the bonus prize should have been shared equally, each player in Pochettino’s 25-man team would have walked away with £20,000 (Ksh. 3.7 million)
