Diamond Platnumz has cancelled the release of his video after bumping onto a bat at his door.Diamond Platnumz was set to release the video of his song Mapoz featuring Jay Melody and Mr Blue on Wednesday afternoon when he saw a bat hanging onto his main door house.
In the video shared on his Instagram stories, the black bat was captured hanging up on his door prompting him to cancel the plan of releasing his song.
“Nakutana na popo mlangoni kwangu na ninatoa video kesho! Inabidi hiyo video tusiitoe jamani.” Platnumz said.
Further, after spotting it and calling upon the crew that was present, one among the crew was captured with a long stick removing the black bat from the door.
According to rumours going around, the bat was sent to bring bad luck before he released the video of his song Mapoz. This under traditional beliefs, acted as a symbol of witchcraft meant to taunt his plans.

A section of fans on social media allege the bat might have been sent by either Alikiba or Harmonize who are the singer’s enemies in the field of music industry.However, it has not been proved whether it was witchcraft sent to him by his enemies or it was just a normal bat that opted to get a new soothing environment to establish its settlements.
Harmonize and Alikiba have not broken their silence about the story but fans anticipate that the two legendary would not stay mum over the issue.
