Oga Obinna, a former Kiss FM journalist, has said being a Kenyan celebrity is something one shouldn’t wish for in his or her life.

In a trending online challenge, Obinna has joined Comedian Mulamwah in the challenge by highlighting several fears and encounters he has been forced to endure as a Kenyan celebrity.

Oga Obinna claims to be a celebrity in Kenya, many people think he has money yet at times, he’s struggling to earn or save some money and keep his lifestyle on-trend.

Further, he alleges that since he quit media, his parents think he’s jobless but contrary to their views, he’s self-employed and earning a living from his content creation gigs, PRs and music career.

However, despite all those public views, the former journalist says he sometimes regrets being in the national domain as a celebrity and also meeting his fans for a meet and greet moment.

“I’m a Kenyan celebrity, of course when  I meet my fans, they expect me to pay them,” Obinna said in his filmed video.

Further, he claims even though fans expect him to pay them, sometimes he fakes his lifestyle just to fit into their public views. Moreover, as he tries to fake the lifestyle, there are female fans who hate him in public but ironically, they are Simpsons in his social inboxes.

I’m a Kenyan celebrity, your partner hates me in public but privately, simps in my DM.” He alleges in his viral video clip.

Additionally, he alleges some online users hate him whenever he shares his achievements on social media: “When I post my achievements, people think I am bragging. “

The truth and fact online challenge has gained more participants among Kenyan celebrities by opening up about what they have gone through and what they go through in their daily lives to become celebrities.

Comedian Mulamwah in his challenge, said many people bash him on social media the moment he shares love vacations and moments with his bestie Ruth K. According to him, some claim he’s always after hurting his baby mama Carol Sonnie.
