Shaffie Weru Ksh 1.1M Salary As Radio Presenter At Kiss FM Shocks Fans
Former celebrated Media Personality Shaffie Weru has left fans in utter shock after revealing the staggering amount he used to earn as a Radio Presenter. While speaking on Mic Cheque podcast, Shaffie revealed he was earning over Ksh. 1Million as salary at Kiss FM before taxation. On spending the cash, he reveals using a huge chunk on partying, buying cars and paying his First born’s school fee
“Just before tax, I made about Ksh1.1 million, and that was back in the day, naongea 2006. Pesa ilikua. Money back in the day ilikuwa partying, buying big cars, and then nilipata watoi mapema. And you know my first born is in uni, just calculate, 18 years ago, so nilikua nalipa school fees pia.”he said

Shaffie Weru lost his job at Homeboyz Radio in 2021 due to a comment on women safety that was viewed to be demeaning and supporting Gender Based Violence.
“We were having a conversation around Eunice, the 20-year-old lady who last year, found a date on Facebook, went on a first date and after that… became immobile, she’s still limping because apparently this guy she found on Facebook invited her to a building, they were having a date on the 12th floor”.
“And then guess what happened? The guy tried to make moves… She said ‘yo I’m not doing this, I’m not about this’ and then the guy pushed her over the 12th floor and now she’s a cripple.
