Kalenjin Mother Takes Two Goats To School To Secure Admission For Daughter

A Kalenjin mother has evoked emotions online after pictured taking her daughter to school to secure admission for her using her only two remaining goats. The unidentified mother in the viral pictures was captured standing with her daughter alongside two goats tied under a tree as she waits to secure admission for her daughter.
From the outdated viral posts, it’s alleged the mother comes from Marakwet East Constituency and was taking her daughter to St. Benedicts, Queen of Peace Secondary School for Form 1 admission.

In another separate post, it’s reported that the Kalenjin mother of two left behind a two-month-old child at home to better the life of her firstborn daughter. Following the viral pictures, a lawmaker from Keiyo South Constituency by the name Gideon Kimaiyo has promised to pay a 4-year fee for the girl.
“This is touching. Let me buy those goats with her school fees for 4 years. Someone deliver the goats to me tomorrow at home” Hon. Gideon Kimaiyo from Keiyo South said.

As he waits for the goats to be delivered to his premises, netizens on social media have slammed Marakwet East politicians for sleeping at work as their members suffer. From the viral pictures, the mother and her daughter not only had two goats but also the metal box they carried, had an old-like coloured mattress on top.
In another separate picture, the daughter approximately 13 years of age was pictured seated on a stone as the goats remained tied under a tree. This not only revealed the kind of background she comes from but also disclosed a plethora of things that were racing through her head.
