Just Send Ksh20 Only- Journalist Natalie Githinji Appeals For Financial Support To Give Her Late Cat Decent Send-Off
Natalie Githinji, a North Rift Radio journalist has put up a till number for fans to help her raise money to give Mimi a better send-off.
The journalist took to her Instagram stories requesting fans to help her raise money that will enable her to give her late pet an appealing send-off after fans requested a contribution USSD number.
Natalie Githinji told fans that her pet (cat) before its death; told her that it needs a purple coffin accompanied by a memorable ceremony.

“Sijui nitamzika na pesa gani… He told me Karnataka a purple coffin na Sina uwezo… Wah! Pumzika pema peponi” she said on Friday.
The cat named Mimi died on 17th January 2024 leaving a big void in the heart of the celebrated vocal Kenyan journalist.
Upon the death of her pet Mimi, she took to her Instagram page to announce its demise where fans joined her to mourn the dead pet.

“I am grieving but I am still working; it is not that I am not able now… 😅😅😅 but man I’m so hurt…. I swear I will not be able to buy another animal. 😭😭😭😭 hurts so bad.” Natalie said.
Following the death of Mimi, the journalist set up a till number and shared her status where fans are contributing money to mourn with her.
Concerning the journey of contribution, she urged fans not to contribute more than Ksh 20 for reasons known to herself.

“Mahn thanks Guys walai losing Mnyama best friend yako ni painful but thanks I appreciate the love.” She added.
