Prince Benali Accuses MCA Tricky Of Stealing His Idea For Comedy Show
Former Churchill Show sound engineer and events host Prince Benali is crying foul after one of his colleagues, MCA Tricky stole the idea of his comedy show.
Prince Benali has come out to expose MCA Tricky for copy-pasting the idea of his comedy show dubbed Vibes & Laughs.
According to Benali, MCA Tricky copied everything from his show and coined his own by the name Tricky Vibes & Laughs.

Not only did the Milele FM radio host lift the name of the show but also the format, idea and everything.
Benali, who spoke to Mideyah Digital exclusively disclosed that MCA Tricky copied everything including the show’s name, the concept and everything about the show.
Mideyah Digital did a quick online research and discovered that indeed Prince Benali is right.
It should be noted Benali launched his comedy show many years ago and even did his inaugural show in 2019.
That is not all, Benali has had several seasons amounting to over four ever since its official launch in 2019 with his previous having run in May 2023.

MCA Tricky launched, rather will be launching his comedy show dubbed Tricky Vibes & Laughs which will debut on Saturday, February 3, for the first time.
“I started my show a couple of years ago and it has been doing quite well since it was a live show. I have done a number of seasons. I was shocked when I learnt that my brother MCA Tricky has the same idea which will be rolling out soon. It is sad that my brother decided to copy my idea, the name of the show and even the entire concept.” Benali told Mideyah Digital.
The revered show host insisted that he has no problem with MCA Tricky running with his idea but he should have just reached out to him for permission.

Mideyah Digital followed up on the issue and realised that indeed MCA Tricky somewhat borrowed everything from Prince Benali, only that he did not inform the latter before rolling it out.
Efforts to reach out to MCA Tricky for his side of the story proved futile but Mideyah Digital is on his case and will duly update you as new development on the same unfolds.
