“Not Self Made”: Chipukeezy Addresses Kibe, Explains Why He Was Fired From Kiss FM

Kenyan comedian Chipukeezy has thrown his fear for Kibe’s whips and candidly stated his piece of mind on why Kibe was fired at Kiss FM and got his YouTube account suspended.
Speaking on Iko Nini podcast, he terms Kibe not self made but a creation of the Kenyan industry.
Citing how Kibe attacks anyone without mincing his words, Chipukeezy further boldly notes how the industry remains in fear and shaken since the Kibe they created started biting them.
“Andrew Kibe is a creation of the Kenyan industry. And this is how the Kenyan industry works; it’s just that Andrew Kibe bites them. They created a lion that bites them,”Chipukeezy started

According to Chipukeezy, Kibe landed his First Radio job at NRG due to his rough nature. He claims Kibe used to fearlessly address issues thus the station saw it wise to poach him to tap on his rough nature.
Additionally, Chipukeezy claims Kibe started to attack colleagues at NRG hence his reason for being fired.
“Kibe was very rough. He used to break Radio Rules. When he got his first Radio job(NRG), they could not deal with him…umeleta mtu wa Kayole Lavington.They are comfortable about him saying those things about other people but now it’s like he has started saying them about their friends, Presenters he is working with.” Chipukeezy further notes
Radio Africa’s Kiss FM would later poach him but as the Comedian explains, they also had to let him go since he did the same ‘mistake’.
Kibe having mastered the art of speaking his mind, opened his YouTube channel which Chipu believes got suspended due to a hand from people who were not okay with Kibe’s content.
“They thought he is not an intelligent person. They thought he prepares what he says. They thought he is not what he says.They took him, tried to play those games with him, and he understood the craft of speaking out. So nobody knows how to deal with Kibe.”
“When he was not talking about the people he is working with, it was okay. But when he started to talk about them so they fired him and what did he do?…He opened a space.Again, on the space, some people were happy when he was talking about other people. They were clapping for him and celebrating his whips…His striking down from where I sit I feel it’s the industry. The same way some people silenced him at Kiss is the same way they silenced him while free.”Chipu concluded
