Kasarani Airbnb Manager Speaks After Body Of Dismembered Woman Found In Dustbin
Police in Kasarani are probing into the matter in which a 24-year-old woman was stabbed and chopped to death in an Airbnb at TRM Drive along Thika Road.
The body of an unidentified dismembered woman was found stuffed in a paper bag in Kasarani Airbnb on Sunday by Airbnb’s caretaker before reporting the matter to Kasarani Police.
It’s reported the unidentified man who is on the run checked into the Airbnb on Saturday 13th at 3 pm and early Sunday morning and returned the key to the caretaker before disappearing.

Risper Muthoni, Airbnb manager told the press that her caretaker was shocked on Sunday morning after bumping on blood stains at the door of the room in which the young woman was killed.
She said after her caretaker bumped on the blood stains, the auspicious event made them check in where they found a polythene bag and a bedsheet soaked in blood.
This made them report the matter to Kasarani Police by providing CCTV footage of the unidentified man dressed in a black jacket and black jeans.

Jimmy Kimari, the head of Kasarani Divisional Criminal Investigations who was present at the scene, issued a stern warning of rising crackdowns on Airbnb operators who did not have security cameras installed and urged them to keep detailed guest records.
Nairobi Airbnb rooms are now placed on the lookout after Pastor Kanyari’s young sister Starlet Wahu was found killed in an apartment in South B, Nairobi early January.
John Matari a suspect in Wahu’s death is in custody as Nairobi police officers and DCIs continue probing into the matter.
