Two Dead, Several Injured After Fuso Ramming Into 13 Cars
Two people have been confirmed dead in a nasty accident involving a fuso, thirteen other cars and two Motorcycles occured yesterday evening.
The nasty accident occured when a fuso rammed into thirteen other cars and two Motorcycles on the Northern Bypass- Namboole around 07:00pm.
According to police reports and statements from first respondents, the driver of the fuso box body transporting maize from Nalya to Namboole failed to brake and lost control at the roundabout, crushing 13 cars and 2 motorcycles, resulting to loss of two lives.

The deceased persons have been identified as 1 female passenger on a motorcycle and a male yet to be identified.
Also, an unspecified number of people were rushed to Gwatilo and Mulago Hospital with severe injuries as the two dead bodies conveyed to Mulago City mortuary.
The damaged Motor vehicles involved in the ghastly accident were towed to Bweyogere Police Station pending Inspection.

“Investigations into the cause of the crash have kicked off and the hunt for the Fuso driver who is on the run has also commenced,” SP Kananura Michael, the Community Liaison Officer for the Directorate of Traffic & Road Safety said.
