Alcohol thieves were ordered to choose between mob justice and galloping stolen crates of beer.
The thieves identified to be South Africans, broke into a shop of beer on Wednesday and stole beer worth 14k.
The viral video shared by South African journalist Velan Ludidi, the beer thieves after stealing were found a day later with some beer.

Umphakathi is a local South African word implying the application of mob justice over a criminal or a thief.
The victim according to reports, rested on the consumption of pilfered alcohol content bottle per bottle.

“Thieves broke in and stole alcohol worth 14k. They were caught a day later with the alcohol. The owner said they must drink it all in one go or face umphakathi. The thieves are struggling,” the video was captioned.
