Controversial Kenyan Musician Justina Syokau has promised Kenyans that she will not release a 2024 song as per her norm since 2020.
In one of her posts, a fan took to the comment section accusing the Twendi Twendi hitmaker of bewitching every new year as it begins.
The fan identified as Sheilah Chepkorir further angrily urged those close to Syokau to put her behind doors to stop her from releasing a new hit in 2024 which might be a ‘curse’ to the highly awaited year.

“Pliz huyu mama afungiwe January asitoe wimbo tunataka mwaka inayoanza bila mikosi,” wrote the fan who gained several likes on her comment.
The comment might have attracted Syokau who replied, “Siwezi toa 2024” bringing some hope to those who never want to hear a 2024 hit from her while others urged her to release a song as she has been doing.
Additionally, others in the comment section noted with anger the silence Syokau who identifies herself as a Gospel Artist exhibited before, only to start her drama and ‘noise’ as the year nears its end.
In 2020, Justina released a song dubbed “Twendi Twendi” in her Kamba accent declaring it as a year of blessing only for Corona Virus to hit the world.
In 2021, the Kamba damsel declared a year of Restoration after the pandemic wreaked havoc on the world.

In 2022, Justina declared she was to be a leader and finally in 2023, she declared a year of great harvest and expansion.
She seemingly got her expansion this year as she announced getting married to a billionaire husband while accusing Media Personality Billy Miya of chasing after her to destroy her new marriage

Whether she will not release a 2024 song as she claims remains a matter pending determination on 31st December, 2023 or 1st January 2024.
If she does, whatever she will declare for the new year remains a mystery.
