President Ruto Hosts Boy He Met On National Tree Planting Day

President William Ruto hosted young boy he met on National Tree Planting Day in Makueni County.
On National Tree Planting Day, President Ruto alongside his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua celebrated the day in Kiu Westlands, Makindu in Makueni County.
When planting trees, a young boy named Master Mutinda Mutuku joined the head of state to grace the tree planting event.

During the event, the needy young boy was pictured walking ahead of Deputy President Gachagua and President Ruto amongst highly profiled politicians.
His picture went viral on social media making Kenyans urge President Ruto to host the young boy at Statehouse.
On Tuesday morning, the Makueni boy accompanied by his mother were hosted at Statehouse to meet President Ruto.

The young boy after arriving at Statehouse, was privileged to be granted the opportunity to plant a tree near King Charles 111 and Queen Camila’s trees.
The head of state after the occasion, described Mutuku as a future environmental champion who’ll embrace environmentalism in the country.
“ Master Mutinda, a symbol of our green initiative, planted a commemorative tree at State House, Nairobi, next to those planted by United Kingdom King Charles III and Queen Camilla.” President Ruto described.
The boy was toured around the statehouse by the President as they took photographs as a stone of remembrance.
