Nyandarua County Commissioner Mohamed Barre has made a statement that has generated a heated online debate.

According to him, wine generates some thirst for drinking and would make it difficult for rehabilitated drug addicts to quit their previous acts when they always find it in church.

Additionally, having wine in church will make it difficult for parents to tell their children that drinking is bad.
