DNA Accuses Kiss FM Of Hating Him

Banjuka crooner Dennis Kaggia popularly DNA has said Kiss FM never played his songs until media personality Kamene Goro made her debut at the media house.
In an exclusive interview on Cleaning The Airwaves – CTA, the musician said the media ( Kiss FM) hated him to the brim.
He recounted that the hatred came because he was loved by God and never beg a person to play his songs.

In the interview, DNA further alleged favoritism that existed those prime days among the radio heads and media personalities, made them shy away from playing his songs.
” Kiss never played my songs. Kiss played my songs when Kamene went there. These guys have have been hating me for long” he revealed.
Additionally, he said more of all, his great favour from God was the main reason for the hatred despite having not partnered with some of them( media personalities and radio heads) after becoming a brand.
“These guys have been hating me for long because mimi natembea na Mungu. Mimi siwezi kupigia magoti unichezee song yangu. Siwezi. Never in my life.” He added.
The legendary Maswali ya Polisi hitmaker further cleared the air over misreports that were made years bank after having a singing deal with the late retired President Mwai Kibaki.
He disclosed that walking around the campaigns of the late president never paid him much as some media reports claimed to have been an aggregate of Ksh 30M.
According to DNA, he was paid Ksh 7M which only around 2.5M went into his pocket after taxation amongst other things accrued throughout the campaign.
“The Kibaki campaign was what I was looking up to because it was something that could set us up tufanye biashara nyingi. So we started doing road shows around Kenya. They paid us Sh7M but I only took home Sh2.5 million,” he said.
The legendary is now a music producer in Nairobi where he has ventured into the gig as his daily hustle/income.
