Candidate Nabbed Cheating In Exams Using Whatsapp
Supervisors were left shocked after they caught one of the students with a mobile phone during her Uganda Certificate Of Examinations (UCE) final exams.
A senior four candidate (name withheld) at one of the schools in Nakifuma Mukono was nabbed red handed by one of the invigilators chatting with unidentified people on Whatsapp, sending exam questions and getting answers from them in return.

The candidate is currently under custody at Nakifuma Police station. We condemn acts of cheating in final exams because they can lead to the cancellation of the school’s center number by UNEB. This means other students will also be cancelled,” Mukono District Education Officer Kikomeko Rashid said.
He further called upon teachers and parents to take the responsibility of encouraging their students to study hard and avoid such practices.
