Woman Sacrifices Her Two Children To ‘Save Ugandans From Poverty’
Police in Jinja District have arrested Musubika Rose, a resident of Naikaza Village in Budondo subcounty for murdering her two children; China Nabirye, 6, and six months old Claire and after burying them inside their house.
According to Kagoda Paul, husband to the suspect, he traveled to Buikwe for work when he received a call from a friend about how his wife was running mad.
“My friend told me he had met her three times and she was speaking to herself. She looked like she was going insane,” he said.
When Kagoda pleaded to speak to his wife, she told him how she had turned into a spirit and warned her husband not to get surprised at what he would find home.

“She first told me my children were okay and when I insisted on talking to them, she changed and told me I was now speaking to a spirit that had killed them. She warned me not to get upset about what I would find home,” Kagoda revealed.
The strange phone call prompted him to rush home to check on his family and what he found inside the house was mind blowing.
“I entered the house and found it in tatters. I started digging the poles soil and was hit by a strong stench from inside the box,” he lamented.
Eyewitnesses with the help of the police retrieved the dead bodies of the two toddlers but discovered the oldest was missing the torso in vain.

“We don’t take matters about child sacrifice lightly and i can assure the public that the Rose and everyone still at large will go to jail without fail,” Busoga East region police spokesperson James stated.
Upon interrogation of the culprit, she revealed that she did what she did because she got a vision from God to fight against poverty in the Eastern region and Uganda as a whole.
“That vision is wrong and misleading because it involves killing people. That’s not godly,” Mubi said.
