Cleric Unconscious After Attempting To Fast For 21- Days
Nigerian cleric Victor Great of Zion Ark of Covenant Church Int’l in Delta State is reported to have collapsed after fasting for 21- days.
Information published on the church’s Facebook page, the cleric went for prayer and fasting to save the flock of God from untimely death and sickness.
During prayer and fasting, the cleric opted to apply dry fasting – no consumption of fruits, food or drinking water.
“Where I am going, you will not see me anywhere. I will go to the hiding place and cry to God for my people. The gate is already open where l am going. Do you think it is my will?
” It is an assignment. I came here to defy the gate of death and declare that there are people you will not take under my watch” he said before going for prayer.
Unbeknownst to him while in prayer for a couple of days; the cleric got himself unconscious which his followers dubbed ” physical attacks” letting him seek medical attention.
In a video clip trending on social media; cleric dressed in white garments is seen carried by his protocol team to a vehicle ferrying him to hospital.
However, ironic to his unconsciousness, he declared words of freedom from untimely death and sickness to his followers.
“Do you think this is my will? It is an assignment. I came here to mock the gate of death, to say to death there are people you will not kill under my eyes” he said before taken to hospital.
According to the Church’s one Facebook post, Mr Victor Great has not started today to carry out prayer and fasting for 21- days but it’s the 16th year he has been doing so.
