Panic filled residents of Ssembabule Town Council after the dead body of a popular sex worker was discovered in a local lodge around the area.
The deceased, identified as 30-year-old Nantongo Annet from Parish Zone, was found lying dead, leaving locals asking questions about the cause of death.
One of the neighbors, Abaasi Kato expressed his sympathy over Nantongo’s sudden death citing how she woke up healthy and lived without any known health issues.

Following the incident, Kasekende Jude, Chairperson of Sembabule Town Council advised all landlords to collect every tenant’s bio data to help identify their loved ones in case of such tragedies.
Kakeeto Joakin, the police representative revealed that the owners of the lodge had been summoned and also made it clear that landlords would be charged in case any tenants died in their premises.

The body of the deceased was taken to Sembabule Health Center IV for post mortem before being handed over to the family.
