Wife Leaves Marriage Shortly After Wedding Citing Man’s Poor Bedroom Skills

Drama ensued after a man dragged her new wife to police for deserting their marital home a few months after the marriage ceremony.
Ntale Sharif married Shamirah two months back in a lavish Nikkah ceremony, paid the bride price but to his surprise, the new wife ran away from their home. Speaking before officers, the disgruntled husband accused his wife of beating up his mother who tried to stop her from packing out their home.
The bride’s father Ssalongo Ddumba Stephen, a resident of Bugujju, Masuliita District while addressing the issues revealed that he got a call from Ntale complaining about his daughter’s bad behavior and before he could have a discussion with the couple, he got news that she had run away.

When the matter escalated, Ddumba had a meeting with his family where the daughter confided in her mother about the reason as to why she dumped her husband shortly after marriage.
“She told my wife that her husband was poor in bed and could not perform his duties as a man,” he said.
Despite their differences, Ddumba still acknowledges Ntale as his son in-law and promises to intervene and see to it that Shamirah returns to her marriage.
“Until she finds another man and introduces her home, I still regard Ntale as my son in-law. I’m just sad that my daughter is in such a mess,” he said.
In his defense, Ntale denied the allegations that he was underperforming in bed, giving his two children from his previous marriage as proof.
“If that was the case, she would have run away on the first day. She found me with two children,” he said.

He accused the family of his estranged bride of lying that their daughter was still a virgin. He also revealed the reason behind her leaving their home was because she blamed her for her poor hygiene and cooking skills.
The couple met on social media while both of them were living and working abroad. They made plans to get married as soon as they got back to Uganda without having much time to date and know each other.
