Tom Osinde, Ex-Treasury official whose body was discovered dumped in River Gucha in Migori
It has now emerged that Ex Treasury official Tom Osinde was murdered at his Nakuru home before his body was transported to Migori where it was discovered.
This is after a shocking revelation made by the Prime suspect in his murder Julius Mogoi even as the detectives continue to unravel circumstances surrounding the mysterious death.
According to Mogoi, he was hired to murder Tom Osinde at his Nakuru home.
“Mogoi has revealed to senior investigators that he was approached to commit the murder, but he has not given any further details about the people who hired him and his accomplices,” a source told Nation.
According to detectives who are continuing with investigations on his murder case, Osinde was killed in his Ngata home. Blood stains were found in his house as the detectives also reveal that someone attempted to clean the house to conceal the evidence.
His assailants who carefully executed the murder, slashed his head before wrapping it with a polythene paper and eventually making their exit through the back door avoiding the main gate manned by one of Osinde’s worker.
The detectives also report that the analysis on blood samples obtained from polythene bags and curtains at the scene of crime match those of Tom Osinde.
The revelation of the main suspect now leaves a question of who wanted the Ex-Treasury official dead and why.
